The proper cheeseburger requires:

- 80/20 USDA beef, 1/2 pound patty, medium rare, dimple in center and shaped to size of bun after cooking.
- 2 slices of American cheese, 8 point star formation.
- top half of one romaine lettuce leaf, cut in two on top of cheese.
- 2 slices of beefsteak tomato, cut in two, 1/10 inch thick next.
- 2 outside edge large red onion rings, not fried.
- 3 medium pickle slices in the empty space of red onion rings.
- mayonnaise on bottom bun, thin layer.
- mustard and ketchup mix on top bun, medium layer.
- butter-toasted in the pan medium thickness brioche bun with sesame seeds on top, cut evenly in half to not allow one side to become soggier than the other.

Suck my mother fuckin’ penis.

Made it.
Ate it.
Loved it.
Made more.
Got tired of them.
Made different ones.
Loved them too.
Realized this whole idea of the "perfect burger" is nonsense and it's really just about knowing how to cook.

Top bun
Special sauce
Arugula
Cherry tomatoes that are flattened
Cucumber slices
Fried onions
Banana slices
Bacon
Cheese, Munster and feta
Beef and pork Patty with anchovies thoroughly mixed through
Sun dried tomato aioli
Bottom bun

I know you'll all will give me shit for the banana but it's not much and I slice them thin. I like the mushy texture along with the crunch of the cucumber. The banana flavor just rounds out the flavor of the burger so you don't actually get a distinct banana flavor, just a slight accent.

I eat this with a lot of potato salad with tons of raw red onions in it. I also like to add pickled small onions to the plate just for extra tang. Of course I have a glass of chocolate milk with this because that's the best.

american cheese is unironically perfect for cheeseburgers, though. that's why it exists.

Have you ever cooked with cheese before? Could you at least try to stay on topic before you start bitching about American cheese? Imagine spending 4+hours a day complaining about something instead of being happy and productive
