I don't know what it is about Slavs/eastern Europeans but they have always freaked me the fuck out. I am a slav and first time I went to US I was amazed at how plentiful and tasty food is. At home we still mostly eat bread, potatoes, cabbage and commerical mayo, though recently a McDonalds has been opened in my city, and I've been very much enjoying my meals there, the food is both very tasty and comparatively healthy. Unfortunately they are going out of business soon because they don't sell alcohol there.
