I've been drinking this.
I just turned 21 so I've been experimenting more with beer and other alcohol. I also tried milk stout nitro (I know it's not a beer) and thought it was OK. It took a while to get used to the bitterness in the IPA (compared to stuff like Heineken, Budweiser, Old Milwaukee) but I like it now (and I get a buzz quicker).

>> No.12768305

>never really been a beer drinker
>friend brings over a bunch of different fruity beers
>stuff like berry flavors and tropical flavors
>they all taste the same even though they are made with completely different kinds of fruit

sorry, i dont remember what the brand was but im guessing it was local or something because i remember the design on the box/bottles didnt look like the typical brands you see advertised.

maybe my tastebuds are shot but didnt really enjoy any of them at all since they all seemed to taste the same to me. i dont think they taste bad or anything though.

maybe ill just stick with mixed drinks or hard ciders.

What you do is try lots of different styles, keeping track of which ones you enjoy, then try different brewers' versions of those styles. Also, when you encounter a new style, give it a try; it might wind up on your good list.

I'm trying some of this Shotgun Wedding. It's a brown ale that encountered some kind of packaging SNAFU at the brewery last batch, or something. We haven't had it in for like 2 or 3 months now and our liquor store is about to sell out of its first 4 6 packs in less than 2 weeks.
People gloss right over their Cliff Jumper and Halfway Home.

So look, you co/ck/s, I've (hopefully) got a 'major' distributor coming into town tomorrow from the big city. I've made about 3 lists, one with a legend to cross reference what I've cross referenced between the distributor's page and the regional distribution sheet that he sent me for available beers, whiskies, and meads. He should credit us for some beers we've had sitting in the back now for almost 2 years, and hopefully he isn't out of the good stuff.
What I'm gonna do is give you guys a list of the brands after this post, and let you guys decide a case or two as what I order in for our shop. Within reason of course... Preferably, dubs decides, but I'm just a lowly wagecuck, so my boss is a bit hesitant on letting me go balls-to-the-wall on ordering a bunch of barleywines, quads, and bourbon stouts with everyone going back to school these days and the Summer alcohol phase kinda dying down.
