The bottled junk is overpriced hydrogenated oil. My usual go-to recipe is just whole milk + half/half + simple syrup + splash of vanilla. I make a bottle or so at a time.

Someone recently told me that you can use condensed milk as a creamer as well but I've never tried it. How does the taste/texture compare to cream? My only thought would be you can't control the sweetness since condensed milk is already sweetened. I also usually drink my coffee cold if that makes a difference.

What's your favorite method of coffee whitening?

I like good-quality black coffee as much as any other coffee head, but I add this to my daily pre-ground drip coffee. It's slightly sweeter than regular milk. It's delicious in cold cereal, too.

Just half and half. What the fuck is with you autismos making shit super complicated for no reason. It’s coffee, you aren’t special for taking extra steps and it still tastes the same

It's not complicated at all...

Sugar doesn't dissolve in cold coffee so I'm trying to find a creamer that has a sweetness to it.

Simple syrup dissolves in cold coffee. Make some. It's called simple syrup for a reason.

Why the fuck are you on a cooking board if you're triggered by people caring about taste? And no, it doesn't "taste the same", sorry about your deficient taste buds.

what is half and half? american coffee is so confusing. just put some milk in it.

My boyfriend discovered he liked Heavy whipping cream in his coffee. I do too, but it's very fatty. I usually just stick to a big splash of whole milk. It's still fatty, but not nearly as bad as the cream he uses.

I agree. Mutts gotta make everything extra fatty.
Google tells me it is an unholy mixture of whole milk and heavy cream.
That just sounds disgusting as fuck.

Most Europeans are taller on average than Americans. But perhaps you were talking about being five feet width-wise, which I admit is an American prowess that few Europeans achieve.

Coffee? Black coffee I hope. I'm more of a black coffee kind of man. The kind of man who rides on horses and herds cows. The kind of man outlaws fear. The kind of man who knows how to handle his lasso and 6 shooter. Gary Cooper? Yeah maybe when I was 12. Tom Selleck? 'afraid not. Clint Eastwood? Close but not quite. Try the Duke. Yup. John Wayne. What I mean to say is drinking black coffee makes me a grown tough cowboy. Sugar and creamer? Ah no thank you. You see I drink my coffee black. I'm sort of like Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven. The tough cowboy type. Would you care to ask me how frequently I use sugar or creamer? Well go ahead, I've got time. Ask me. ... Glad you asked. Short answer: None. Disciplined answer: Haven't touched it in months. Probably old by now. I'm actually going through a lawsuit to get my local grocery store to reduce their sugar and creamer inventory. It's going well. I can't stand sugarlets or creamlets. Actually cut all of my old friends off who use. Why go through all of this trouble you ask? 3 words. 2 concepts. Discipline. Mental toughness. This is why friend. This is why friend.

Dont have experience with real cream, but condensed milk is extremely rich compared to half&half. I like to use it when I make stove top chia.
