A midwesterner cooks meat:
> 40 minutes of autistic arguing over how many minutes per side, whether to salt early or salt late, whether to take it out of the fridge, etc
>wow, steak, this is fine dining! the finest most holy invention ever by Jesus Christ Our Lord
A flyover cooks a vegetable:
>boils it until it's a bowl of green goo, doesn't even salt the water
>ugh, gross, this is healthism. the vegans are oppressing meeee!

If you people spent 20% less time sperging over how to cook beef and spent that just thinking for a SECOND about how to cook everything else, your food wouldn't be the laughingstock of the civilized world

I have no idea what the meaning of this even is. Gonna take a shower and go for a ride on the 4-wheeler.

Surely there's somewhere else you can make these desperate cries for attention, OP.

Maybe if you had access to prime meat and learned how to cook instead of making shitposts, you'd actually understand coastie faggot.
Picture is Swedish meatballs with freshly slaughtered chuck and sirloin that I ground myself.

Grills are a key element of human gastronomic heritage. The best that can be done with vegetables is often comfort dishes requiring greater sophistication with things like hotpots.

Not as great as the meat on the grill. Imagine just firing it up for the vegetables.

I did it one time for a vegetarian party I hosted although I'm not a vegetarian, just thought it would challenge my creativity. Made an italian vegetarian sausage that was quite good and did marinated mushrooms as well as corn, onions and various peppers. Had a big salad with fresh garden tomatoes. Was pretty worth it since I got a good fuck out of it for my efforts.

A coastal homo sapiens futuris cooks the meat with his own inner body temperature.
