In Finland, no store refrigerates eggs I don't do it either. I have never seen egg going old even after they have passed their due date.

And finnish poultry has least salmonella in the world. Feels good. What kind of cuck puts his eggs in cold?

If you buy eggs but don't eat a lot they'll last about a month longer if you refrigerate them.

Eggs do keep at room temperature, though. I think the reason you have to refrigerate them in the States has something to do with them being scrubbed hard whereas in Europe they're just washed.
UHT (dunno the terme you'd use in english for that process) milk also keeps at room temperature as long as it's not opened. You usually find this one in cartons. Bottled milk is usually to keep refrigerated.

Bullshit. Optimal temperature for storing eggs is STEADY 12-14 celsius. So no fridge because opening fridge door changes temperature.

I just read that the reason why you have to refrigerate eggs in USA is because they wash them which destroys natural layer of eggs that protects it from spoiling.

If americans would actually prevent salmonella in farms they wouldn't need to wash their eggs. I guess it is somekind of foreskin removal syndrome.
