First attempt at cooking Aglio Olio, forgot to add pine nuts, not enough seasoning and i added to much crushed red pepper. Anything i can do to make this taste better?

5 cloves

Not enough oil, use better olive oil, switch red for black pepper, use pasta water to get the oil to stick to the pasta.

A burger thread died for this.

Yes, and also looks overcooked

i get overwhelming garlic flavour with only 3 minced cloves

are you using good quality pasta that isnt overcooked and enough olive oil?

finish it with olive oil over the top on the plate and also use some grated cheese to serve

it's goddamn garlic oil and pepper flakes. you don't use spaghetti for this either, try spaghettini, big difference. garlic should be half burnt and parmesan on top, no other ingredients other than basic salt-ppepr

i think i used too little olive oil since i was running out and i think i didnt let the garlic slices cook slowly as it should.

This video is in Italian, but I think everyone can understand what he's doing by watching.

His pasta recipes are all great, by the way.
