I work in a similar food service establishment and we only change gloves if they are visibly dirty or torn. Otherwise there is no need to waste the store’s resources.

I primarily use the same subway and I don't even have to say it anymore, they just do it the way I like without any words needing to be said.

There are times they'll make my sub in front of other people because they know it's quick and they can skip having to cut it, and I don't get mine toasted, so it's always quick anyway.
