What's the best way to cook a ribeye steak? My current method is pan-seared in a cast iron with half a stick of butter w/ basting. What can I do to up my game?

Idk about the best but I do medium highish with olive oil and then melt in like idk a 1/3" thick slice of butter when I remove from heat and use residual pan heat to baste. I pan sear til rare and if I have guests who like it more well I finish in the oven while I cook the other steaks.

dry brine or lightly cure w/e you want to call it for 24 to 48 hours. it'll be fun to experiment with; lately ive been using salt, a dash of worcestershire and fish sauce, some garlic, thyme, and rosemary and koji if someone asks for it

kinda "cheaty" by since you add more glutamates but if you like the taste then it doesnt really matter in the end
