I raise chickens

A lot of people do around here

Storebought eggs eggshells are very weak, and the insides extremely thin. Your own chickens eggs will have harder shells, and the contents will have more substance.

You do have to deal with the chickenshit. Wiping chickenshit off eggs everyday gets to be quite the pain. And if you let them roam around, theyll find any nice cranny and lay eggs there. You wont find them for perhaps weeks and then *pop*

I set up 4 very nice nesting areas not including the two coops, and the fucking fat retarded featherbags still leave eggs anywhere. To be honest I dont care for chickens very much anymore.... Someone just take them.

I'm already paying $6/dozen for free range organic fucking eggs. How much do I need to buy per week? Typically one dozen lasts me several weeks unless I'm doing a lot of baking, which is rare.

What is it with Americans and eggs?

I work in an airport cafe, and every time we get Americans on the United Flights I hear:
"The bacon sandwich, does that come with egg?"
"Does your sausage buttie have egg on that?"
"Can I get your bacon sandwich with egg and cheese?"
"Do you guys do just like an egg and cheese sandwich?"

It's at the point now where we have to cook a higher volume of eggs just to accommodate the times where Americans fly out otherwise we couldn't keep up. Our tills don't even have an option for egg and cheese, bacon and cheese, sausage and cheese, etc.
Don't even get me started on bacon egg avocado and cheese, what the fuck even is that request.
One woman even asked for egg with porridge.

I like a bacon and egg sandwich too, but why is it such a thing there?

Hey, I'm doing my part, I eat eggs all the time. If I were a passed out thot and an anon made me a bowl of eggs, I'd eat them all. Actually I'm a fat fuck who fries a lot, so I pretty much eat eggs with every meal (egg wash).
My shits and farts are horrendous.

That's interesting that you've had that experience, assuming you speak unadulterated truth. In America, round the 70s I think some wack job senator managed to convince Congress that eggs and specifically the cholesterol in them were bad for people's health based on some shit "scientific" study. Congress managed to print on egg cartons that the RDA was just 1 egg per day. But maybe that restriction has caused Americans to obsess over the egg. It may also be infallible arrogance. I've noticed a lot of people in America that can't do as the locals do. They insist on their own methods and traditions, and just can't accept that other variations exist. That might be bc of Early Cold War Rhetoric in which capitalism and communism couldn't coexist. My way or the highway is a popular Americanism that encapsulates that essence. I dunno there's a couple explanations. Personally I love eggs, I like em fried sunny side up and hardboiled but with a runny yolk. I do not like them in sandwiches, unless the yolk is cooked through. My reasoning being that a sandwich is hand held food and having an egg with runny yolk in sandwich kind of defeats the purpose.

TL:DR fucking Americans.

I assume different countries might have different average breakfasts. Eggs are a big part of the average American breakfast. The things you listed would count as breakfast sandwiches. Sometimes it's the central breakfast protein.

I did the TL:DR for them (You)s. I am American and this is what I've noticed. I'm west coast burger though, so my reflections are a result of living out here. East Burgers may have a different opinion.

"Egg hour" makes me chuckle. I'm certain as well that you do like eggs. Eggs are great and versatile. Good nutrition and flavor as well. As others have pointed out eggs are indeed an important component of breakfast in America. I personally find them easier on my stomach in the mornings than say ham. I'm not upset if my breakfast doesn't have eggs, but when I can I actively seek them out. That said I do like eggs for lunch and dinner on occasion. As well it may be a source of comfort for those travelers in a strange land. They can at least get an egg sandwich for breakfast, just like they can at home.

I'll probably end up freezing and using them for stock or soups. Laying hens dont really have a lot of meat so I dont find it to be worth actually cleaning and cooking them. I paid $10 each for mine, and I can pick up a plump fryer chicken for about $7 so im not sure it would be feasible to sell

Social media scares people Nationwide when they see spiders popping out of bananas, maggots in a Reese's, bugs in a pizza crust, niggers licking ice cream, and red egg yolks... It's economic warfare. Nothing new. Industries fighting one another for foreign overlords.
