I blame your shitty parents for not teaching you how to cook. That said, buy chicken breasts whole and dice them yourself. Also, why is the colander with spaghetti in it sitting on the counter? What sauce did you use?

>>12671437
Very, very poorly. You didn't even cook. You just heated pre canned/packaged ingredients. You're doing the bare minimum to get by.

cook your own chicken

costs probably as much or less than the bagged chicken and takes about 15-20 minutes extra

Everybody starts somewhere. I'd suggest branching out to things beyond spaghetti. Even just making your own chicken would help. Make mistakes, learn from them, improve over time. It'll happen if you want it to.

It's cooked. Should throw some basil or oregano in there just for flavor.

First off, cook your own chicken. It's not that much harder and it gives you 10000x more options than the precooked bag.

Secondly, finish your pasta in the sauce. Don't rinse it after draining, just put it in the sauce to simmer a bit. The starch will thicken the sauce and some of the flavor absorbs into the noodles.
