you seem to have made a mistake as that image has NOTHING to do with my thread which is about using mayonnaise or butter for grilled cheese. instead you post some stupid screenshot of a fake news story about some dumb monkey-woman who got murdered by some other monkey-man literally who gives a shit just answer the question i had asked, well implied with the image so it goes like this again if you werent clear; MAYONNAISE OR BUTTER FOR YOUR GRILLED CHEESE?

>> No.12660850

i am completely floored that this thread, before my post, has two separate IP's in it
genuinely shocked. for the third, i'll say that butter is better. mayo does not hold up with the heat and impart the tang it ought to, despite whatever you've heard. a sea-salt butter is better every time

Why is sea salt so weak? Any product with sea salt in it tastes noticeably less salty than the comparable regular salted product.

Do you never eat sandwiches with mustard and mayo on them? It's the same thing, just with a single container. Not really that disgusting.
I wouldn't buy it, but I don't see it as some horrific new unappetizing monstrosity either.

Butter. Mayo has a tendency of turning into oil and soggying the bread

>eggs and oil are good.
Eggs smell weird once they start getting browned though. And i guess maybe some people like the vinegar in mayo to balance out all the fat. But i still prefer using butter and dipping it in mustard, I don't think browned mayo can compare to the taste and smell of milk solids browning in butter.

Because anything that's premixed is noticeably shittier than just mixing it yourself.

Case in point: premixed baco or just mixing rum and coke yourself.
