Post food places that are generally good but too expensive for what they are.

Pic related for me. $16 for a large Italian Sub.

not op. I'm not poor, but there's no way in hell I'll pay 16 dollars for a sub. Besides, the native american owned gas station in my town makes the best subs in the world for 7 dollars

this is what poor people that stumble onto money temporarily until they're seperated from it say. that shit is $18 here and im a flyover. it's a fucking sub

people that say this often are former poorshits who make $60k and think they're big time now and eat $18 subs instead of $6 subway subs like they use to and wonder why they're still broke

Look at any picture of a Jersey Mike's sub, it's deceptive as fuck and done purposely. The roll is huge and they throw a shitload of lettuce and vegetables on it...but put the same amount of meat on their large as Subway did on their footlongs 10 years ago. You can see it in OP's picture.
Fuck Jersey Mikes and fuck Jannies.

Its a meme. Regular 8" subs is around $6-8. These fat-ass are talking about 1600 calorie 16" subs that'll feed 2-3 people. It's not even called large they call it giant. They add 2-3x the meat that any subways will give you too.

1600 calories is a normal meal if you aren't a female office receptionist or twinkboy and actually eat twice a day like a lot of people do. you're projecting your day to day life on everyone else

That is objectively not a normal meal. That is a large meal by far. Assuming 2000 calories a day...That would be 80 percent of your daily calories in one meal.
You might need to learn about proper portion sizes.

I need the large cheesesteak when Im hung over on a bender but the price on the delivery app is inflated and the deliver rate makes it like $26. I always end up not doing it, though sometimes I will just do a line and go myself.

quite a wild assumption to make how much fuel a person needs and how many pit stops(meals) they can make a day.

I went to a jersey mikes in an airport, super oily but decent, not for the price ( airport I know) and jimmy johns was also okay, very bland and also too costly for what it was. Teenagers didn’t know dick and were easily confused. I prefer port o subs. Decent price great taste

The one near me just closed. I guess the prices are set by the owner and not corporate, because that location kept raising prices.
It was $10 for a burger the last time I went. I think the bacon cheeseburger was like $12.

That was like 18 months ago, so if they kept raising rates I wouldn't be surprised they went out of business.
