Peanut butter is decently high in protein but I think that's because it has low moisture so it's just more concentrated, and it kind of becomes unpleasant to eat so often because of that. Beans aren't high in protein either. They're high in protein for a plant food, but still like only 30% as much protein as meat. It's hard to get enough protein on purely a vegan diet without getting too much fiber/carbs with it unless you just start eating something like TVP or other forms of refined plant protein. TVP can be pretty tasty though, but I don't know how healthy it really is to completely replace meat with it.

Also I understand the desire to move away from killing animals. You can accept it as natural and realize humans are omnivores, but you don't have to become complacent and try to justify it as something good that killing is required, so maybe look into supporting the development of lab-grown meat too.

Get yourself psychologically prepared to lose your teeth, suffer serious health issues, etc. If your commitment is strong, you won't be surprised and you can stay vegan, regardless of the hardships.

Just go vegetarian or pescatarian. Vegan isn't realistic and more hardcore than it needs to be. You can get eggs and dairy products from places with good animal husbandry practices, is cheaper and easier to maintain, plus its easier to get vitamins and minerals that you need; I think eggs have b12.

Buy yourself a decent rice cooker and the ratio is for every one cups rice add two cups water.
Rice makes it so easy to make a good meal. Bit of avocado, sauerkraut, sauces, heat up some broccoli or edamame and its filling and healthy as hell !

if you're worried about b12, buy some nutritional yeast flakes (or as we call it nooch). Tastes like cheese, and is a good topping for everything. Its really good. Usually is highly fortified in b12, and if you're extra worried you can use a supplement.
