Finally move out of my Mom's basement. Got a job at Best Buy and am taking a class at the local community college. Mom gives me a toaster for a house warming gift. Decide to have toast for breakfast and only want one piece. Have to throw the other piece in the trash. Doesn't seem right.

I remember in the 90s there was toaster company that printed "For only one slice, use left slot" on their toasters. It didn't really matter which slot you used, they just got tired of people calling and bugging them asking how to toast only one piece.
