Do millennials really make excuses before they drop $20 on avocado toast? Like what is the excuse that boomers got free houses and non obese gfs?

I agree with a couple hours, going shopping, prep work, cooking it, then washing all those dishes, disposing of trash, and cleaning the stove. Its not a difficult recipe but any and all real cooking takes a fuck lot more than 10 minutes, thats just a flat out lie.

5 duck legs in grease for 9$.
Frozen pre cooked sarladaises, one pound : 5$

It's maybe even cheaper if you do the maths.

If you're the same retard who made a thread yesterday asking how to open the tin with those ducklegs I really don't think you should be so cocky about having roasted some potatoes.

You could make a cheaper variation with chicken leg quarters for $2.

>> No.12608472

We should do a /ck/ challenge who can do it quickest.

1 chicken or duck leg, doesn't matter
3 medium size potato
2 carrots

Start with all ingredients in the fridge.
Peel potatos and clean carrots, cut them up.
Put legs and veggies into baking tray.
Season with pepper, salt and at least two other spices or herbs.
Put baking tray into oven and all used knifes, dishes and what else into dishwasher. If you don't have a dishwasher it can be simulated by a cardbox or whatever.

5 mins should be possible with proper planning.

You're a liar. Meat like that does not take 10 minutes to cook, ovens take at least 5 minutes to heat up, small potatoes take at least 3 minutes to be cut, and a good 15 in the oven.
The meat would need to cook for a whole 30 minutes to not get salmonella.

Don't be this mad. Duck confit and theses potatoes were already pre-cooked for hours in a factory in the south of France. You just need a pan.
