Specialties you need to try at least one time in your life
No memes allowed, like gold and truffle pizza and stupid shit like that

I'd like to try real wagyu at least once. Seems to be life changing for at least half the people who try it, might as well see what it's about.

Had some cabrales in Gijon. Pretty good but so were all the local cheeses there. Top tier dinner of fabadas, cheese for dessert and washed it all down with cidre.

Royal rabbit. The recipe is too long to post it. You can get it for around 50€.

Based
Dining fabada is not very common, as it's quite a heavy course
Cabrales, wallnuts and cider are a delicious combination

Sirloin, a fat piece of lightly grilled foie on top, and jam on the side is a very common pincho (like a more refined tapa) in San Sebastián (Spain)

Yeah me and my wife split each order and it was more than enough. We got more than one piece of each sausage. Great meal my dad is full Portuguese so I grew up eating beans with chorizo and linguica and stuff in it. Reminded me of home even though I was halfway around the world quite comfy.

That's one of the hardest things I've been asked. I'll just link you this.

They are all so different in flavour I just don't know how to rank them. I tend to prefer aged cheeses, though.

Just rank them Spaniard. I know only Manchego.

>>12605233
Cheeses are better to do in tiers of quality rather than a 1-x ranking because they're each so unique and different it's contextual which one is best for which situation.

I would check the list posted, the pdo ones
I personally enjoy Cabrales a lot
Also the oldest the better. Boffard is very very old and dry. All flavor
La torta del casar is quite famous, but personally not my cup of tea.somewhat of a novelty imo
Burgos is also delicious.

It's good but only in small quantities, it's very very rich. I bought a steak of it once and cooked at home but it made me feel sick afterwards because it's so fatty.
