Is Heinz good ketchup? I've grown up with it as the only ketchup I've ever really used. Is it decent and comparable to the stuff that the Americans actually use? Also, is it worth trying catsup or is the difference actually negligible?

It's definitely not the worst ketchup. I don't use ketchup a lot because it's pretty low on the totem pole as far as condiments go.

There's nothing wrong with it, but the cheaper store brands taste pretty much the same so that's what I go with.

I like mixing barbecue sauce with dijon mustard instead of using ketchup.

I like a ketchup that still tastes like it has a vegetable in it. This could pass for home made only it's stable enough to stick around in your fridge.

lolwut? Heinz is an American company and this is considered the coca-cola of ketchup over here. It's alright, I guess.

Basic store bought tomato ketchup all just about taste the same desu. If you're wanting to try something different, try Jufran. It's like ketchup with a slightly less pasty, more syrupy consistency and a sweeter taste. It's made with bananas instead of tomato. The red comes from food dye but I'm sure you can order natural banana ketchup if you don't mind the brown color.
