What new foods have you introduced people to? How did they react?
I introduced my sister to kakigoori (Japanese shaved ice) which she went fucking crazy for.
I took my brother to try okonomiyaki which he had never heard of. He really liked it!
I've just shown my coworkers masala dosa, which none of them had ever heard of and they are excited to try.
Sharing good food is fun!

I'm only like 25% gay and I'm a kike not a nigger.
Oh, I also took this girl out for Mexican food for her first time. She couldn't finish her burrito, it was pretty cute.

I introduced my taiwanese friend to indian food beyond biriyani. She went absolutely mental for it - it was great.
Hopefully she'll introduce me to taiwanese food in the future, unless it's shit, in which case she shouldn't.

I used to live and work in Kansas City. One time I tried to get my team to a Middle Eastern restaurant for lunch. Four out of fifteen people had never had such food before, and were too scared to try it, so they got burritos from a nearby place instead and then sat down with us.

Understandable. When I lived in KC there weren't any middle eastern restaurants at all.
