I never understood this /fit/ meme. Unless you are training at competition or near competition levels, a 20% differential on protein intake and macro distribution really won't have an impact....but that is for another thread on another board

I will agree that the thigh is tastier, but breast has it's applications. I feel like it works much better for the curries I make. Also after I smoke a chicken, the breast is my favorite part to shred and put on a pizza. Shaved chicken breast is the superior sandwich meat. I also use it for home made tendies.

Chicken breast is really good when it's cooked properly and didn't come from a bag in the freezer. It's awful if you cook it carelessly. Thighs and drumsticks turn out ok no matter how sloppy you are.

If you have a large preference for thighs over breast it's because you're awful at cooking and blame the ingredient instead of your own incompetence.

Also, stop fucking roasting a bird whole and then whining about the breast being dry because you left it in the oven for 3 times longer than its proper cooking time.

Chicken breasts are good for homemade chicken strips/tenders and if you slice em in half they make a fuckhuge chicken patty to deep fry in flour/batter/seasoned flour, I still prefer thighs for those and all other chicken applications, but sometimes a bigass piece of breast is what you're looking for, and if you're not totally stupid you can actually keep it juicy and marinate it to be flavorful.
