Here's my linguine alla puttanesca. I used tomato sauce because I didn't have crushed tomatoes and I think I slightly overcooked the pasta. How did I do?

Your dish looks good but i don't think it's really bound together quite right and is a little bit much like pasta in a tomato soup. The oil not emulsifying into the sauce isn't great, the bits are too big imo and yeah it's better to use whole tins you crush or crushed. And flatter pasta is better imo.

I'm sure it tastes great though.
I actually think not using cheese is a good choice too. I probably won't next time. It doesn't need it. Although parsley and pepper would have been good.
