Being from texas i found it how unbelievable how many dunkin donuts there were in every corner. They are barely makin a move into my area. Anyways, i asked for tea and was expecting iced tea when i visited florida, instead they gave me some hot ass watered down water with a bag of leafs in it.

Dunkin used to be popular for the donuts, then they decided they could make more money by shipping them in frozen and throwing them in a glorified toaster oven. Hence no longer being popular for kind of nasty donuts where the better flavors regularly ran out for a few days at a time (with all the bullwhipping of half of the rush 'shit we sold out' order getting thrown out because people didn't bother coming in for disappointment, then the order after that being under again because it got thrown out, repeat.)

The choice to become Starbucks for townies and fat chicks followed from franchisees then emphasizing the part of the menu they had any inventory planning control or profit margin left on. Can't keep people from stocking a couple weeks of coffee beans and milk anywhere near as easily, nor can you tell them "hahaha good luck going indie you dumb sucker, all you own is an air fryer" when they can get beans from anywhere.

and that’s not really because they’re great donuts,
