Not even gonna watch it, does it taste worse?
Has there ever been a time in history when a recipe change actually resulted in a better tasting product and wasn't entirely a cost-cutting move?

I work at pizza hut
>Cheese blend
It's the same
>Sauce
It's the same
>The pan
It's the same

The only difference is the frozen crusts they ship us. I can't necessarily tell you the difference, they just feel like they added 25% more bread to them and that's it.

Confirmed retard. Cheese changed a few months back, it's now a skim milk blend for reduced moisture to accomodate the faster oven belt times with higher cooking temperatures. The sauce is pre-mixed now, not sent to stores as a concentrate and mixed with water, as of recently, the sauce has less water in it making it thicker and again reducing moisture for cook times. The pan dough did not change, it's the same shit, the company had been putting in QC complaints for almost a year about issues with dough life (supposed to be 2 days, was going flat within a day constantly) as well as uneven proofing, dough drying out and getting a "skin" on top of it before it's been sauced and topped, prep procedure changed as well as the top of the dough is sprayed with oil before tempering overnight and being proofed the following day, this is because they went back to a wider quality ring giving a bigger crust edge, but, you now get less cheese than what was being put on pans after the new $1 for medium and $2 for large upcharge that was associated with costs.

I loved the original pan like a retarded child .

the greasy chewy crust, the salty rubbery cheese, the sugary sauce. I'd get either pepperoni or olive and mushroom. It's by no means traditional or quality pizza but it just hits a spot, ya know?

hope the new one is as good and if not i hope it's a new coke scheme and they change it back.

>> No.12427530

I tried it today. It tasted like the crust on the bottom absorbed less of the oil/better shit that they cook it in. The crispness didn't penetrate as much into the dough as it used to. The cheese wasn't quite as flavorful as I remember either. Overall I think it was a downgrade to be honest, I'll be sticking with the stuffed crust.

You start watching him as a joke. You think he's really weird, and don't understand why he's so popular. You wonder how he's managed to gain so many subs. Why are his fingernails so long? You think to yourself. Why is he always wearing suits? Why does he review fast food products? You laugh at him. You think nothing of him................... but then you notice yourself returning to the channel, more and more. You find yourself watching the reviews. The rant videos. The update videos. You start delving into the background of Reviewbrah. His life, his hobbies, and why he always wears suits. You get to know him, all while becoming a regular viewer. You start speaking well of him. You start telling your friends about him. You start loving him. You start supporting him on Patreon. You start cherishing him, and his comfy reviews on the website YouTube, where everything else has started feeling so fake and lifeless. In a long dark hallway, Reviewbrah is the light. Reviewbrah is everything. And now all you want, is to watch Reviewbrah succeed in everything. You think of him smiling, after having told one of his tasteful jokes, and it warms your insides.

So wait, I'm getting less product and they are still upcharging me? To be honest the only reason I order pizza hut anymore is because of the 7.99 large 2 topping online deal and it's better than a little caesers hot n ready. But dominos is satan and papa johns is too far to drive and too expensive for delivery.

>> No.12429915

I work at the hut, the only change is a new pan that is a bitch to clean and that we use less cheese. Its now the same amount of cheese as a regular hand tossed but still $1 more.

I like the stuffed crust, but I don't like the actual crust underneath the pizza. It gets too floppy and soggy and thin, but I also think their hand tossed is bland as fuck.

Maybe I'll try their thin crust next time.

I don't like that if you just want a normal large cheese pizza with no toppings it's like 10 dollars, while the 2 topping deal is 7.99 which makes you feel like you should get the toppings because you'd be passing up an amazing deal if you don't (without the deal a 2 topping pizza is like 12-13 bucks). A normal large cheese pizza should be 5 or 6.

I remember when my school as a little kid used to give out tickets for a free personal pan pizza at pizza hut for certain achievements like scoring a certain amount of points on your independent reading test scores (read a book, take a test on the class pc, depending on the difficulty of the book and the number of questions you would get a certain number of points).

Clever marketing on their part honestly, kid gets a free pan pizza and wants it, parents have to drag them there and order something to eat for themselves/siblings. Those things were crispy and delicious to me when I was a kid, probably total shit in reality but they knew how to tickle a kids tastebuds.

Stuffed crusts come with 5 pieces of string cheese in the crust, roughly half a pound of cheese, the pizza is topped as a medium, ie, medium pizza worth of sauce, cheese, and measuring cups are used for it. The upcharge for a stuffed crust is justified.

>>12429872
As of now, yes, the upcharge is still there but you're not getting more cheese like before when the original price increase was introduced to pan dough, it still receives the same amount of toppings as before though.

>>12431807
Even Dominos receives premade dough that's simply fresh balls left on big plastic trays that get pulled out of a walk in for a few hours depending on what day they proof the dough, it's "fresh" because it's never frozen, but they'll keep those unproofed trays of dough for up to 7 days before throwing them away. Pizza Hut receives all of it's meats frozen, all of the dough is frozen and tempered on oiled screens or in an oiled pan overnight before being ready to use, all veggies are sent pre-sliced and never frozen, even all the cheese shows up frozen.

>> No.12436302

>>12429915
The pans are only a bitch to clean if your crew is too retarded to season them properly. Light coat of oil, pass through the oven, let cool, repeat 3 times, wash, use as normal, wa la.

>> No.12436310

>>12430128
Stuffed crust is just a large hand-tossed stretched out more to fit the cheese, it's meh-tier dough, the garlic butter or hut favorite (garlic butter + parm parsley blend) helps, stuffed crusts always have the crust buttered with the same butter used for the breadsticks after baking. The thin crust is actually good if you're into a crispy crust, also for pan/stuffed just ask for it to be well done, it'll get an extra half pass through the oven, if you've got more than 3 toppings on a pizza it really helps with the floppy soggy bullshit.
