Fish and chips is overrated. Every country has variations of it. Fried stuff in a box that has one flavour: oil, meaning you have to drench it in vinegar or sauce. It can be comfy sometimes, especially if you're really hungry since the portions are large. But compared to Indian, Chinese, kebab, pizza, almost any other popular takeaway food, it's low tier.

Also almost no place does skate, the best fish.
