In the US it's because of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act (16 USC 703-711).

This. Get them on your own private property with a turkey hunting bow and the feds won’t be the wiser. They tend to hang around golf courses though so be wary of pesticides and fertilizers.

I feed muscovies nuts but Canadas always barge in as if my nuts were for them. They will also approach any nearby human if someone else runs out of food like we're dispensers.

So then I’d guess you’d want to roast the whole bird with nice aromatic herbs under the skin, citrus stuffed in the cavity, and baste it with its own drippings. No extra oils added.

I heard what the Romanians do, and my mate Jim down the pub told me this so its pretty reliable, is that they kill the Swans and then collect the feathers. They then use the feathers to make a swan outfit that they use to disguise as a swan so they can get royal swan benefit from the queen. They also use the swan outfits to steal bread from old people who cant tell the differences between a real swan and a Romanian swan.

Because they're all feathers and fluff. How do you think they survive in arctic conditions? There's already a goose people raise for eggs and meat, it's the Domestic/Chinese goose.
