I am curious as well. Tempted to get the really nice campcook one with the side searing burner when my propane grill starts to die.

I have a separate electric smoker, but having a wood fueled temp controlled bbq/smoke combo seems like it would give better results. Is it worth $900 and however much pellets it eats through though?

They're fine if you're lazy and don't want to tend a fire, and can spend enough to buy a decent one.

I like barrel smokers the best, they're more versatile, inexpensive and make a better bbq.
