fellow burgerstanis, just want to wish you guys a good memorial day weekend and good grilling.

just spent the last 4 hours trying to clean a very rusted grill (lazy flat mates didn't clean it, and i just moved in a month ago). i spent more in cleaning supplies than the cost of a new grate.

calling it a total loss, about to head out and eat the cost of a new grate. i'm willing to pay almost any cost at this point just to enjoy my first bbq without relatives.

To clean the grill you just heat it up to burn whatever is stuck to it then brush. It takes less than 30s once hot to do. You're a moron.
