My hangovers make it impossible since I can't force myself to eat anything when hungover. The thought of eating makes me almost puke.
I honestly don't know anyone who suffers from them as bad as I do. If I go out drinking, the whole next day until around 9PM is crossed out of my life since all i can do is suffer.

You can drink heavily from time to time and not fuck up your mental state you just got to get a hold on your drinking habits. Lifestyle change really helped cut back on drinking and I feel pretty good mentally despite getting fucked up 1-2 times a week.
Or don't.
If anything just avoid getting physically addicted or blacking out and yelling at your friends/family. You won't realize what you've lost till they're gone.
