Best drinks? I'm finally old enough to drink alcohol, which alcoholic beverages are the best in your opinion? I don't like beer, it's too bitter.

Just try whatever you can get your hands on and see what you like. Different spirits with some form of soda is a good way to try it out. Cider is a good alternative to beer thats not a spirit, although it depends where you are Ive heard some places have shit cider.
Personally i think gin and whisky are good spirits, vodka is basically the same without any flavour. Rum and coke is good but its very sweet if thats your thing.

But also listen to these guys and dont over do it like some dumb student chugging vodka straight and getting alcohol poisoning.

Not all beer is bitter, but we can talk about other stuff.
What do you like in general?
For me, I like my Bloody Mary's because I like spicy.
For a couple of other decent vodka drinks, Moscow Mules and White Russians are nice.
Whiskey on the rocks can be enjoyable but I probably wouldn't start with that. Bourbon with lemonade is an alright place to go.

I guess you could always give hard apple cider a try.
It's sweet-ish, alcoholic, but it's very tasty especially when it's cold.

Another thing I would suggest is cognac if you really want that sweet sweet aroma.

Run with coke is also good like the previous anon said.

I also like myself some fruity moonshine, it can be pretty tasty

Try a screwdriver which is just vodka mixed with orange juice. Or try Mountain Dew mixed with vodka, it’s actually pretty good and is what I first drank when I started drinking hard liquor.
