It's fine for lighter sauces - great with something like zucchini, roasted peppers, garlic oil, and a bit of cheese. Heavier sauces either need something that will trap them (such as linguine), or something reasonably firm, or at least curved/rounded that will hold onto the sauce (rigatoni, gnocchi)
