If you want a serious answer, corn is heavily subsidized here so corn syrup is much cheaper to produce than sugar. You already knew that and just wanted to shitpost though, didn't you?

Americans are being subjected to a coordinated disinformation campaign that blames sugar for all the health problems in the world (most of which are driven by excess fat intake and animal products, if anything). This campaign is being waged by various business interests that are often dishonestly not disclosed.

For example a few years ago there was a "study" that falsely claimed that the sugar industry was, through corrupt scientists, responsible for establishing the scientific and public perception that excess dietary fat is harmful. The authors disclosed no conflicts of interest at any point, despite actually being funded by a billionaire-backed right-wing foundation. Sugar isn't bad for you by itself but it is bad if you are sedentary. HFCS isn't bad in small amounts, Fructose is actually better for you than sugar since it needs to be processed by the liver into glucose before it can be used. However, too much fructose can overload the liver and cause the liver to start using a different metabolic process to convert it straight into fat, usually visceral fat

Suger is a Conspiracy of the New World Order to rape children, its something like Pizzagate where you know how children get crazy and tired after eating pizza then Hillary Clinton rapes them, well imagine children getting high by eating lots of chocolate bars, then Hillary Clinton rapes them

There's nothing in your mess of a blog post that shows a conflict of interest. E v e r y t h i n g seems to rest on the implication that this right-wing billionaire-backer foundation is anti-sugar.

I can't find anything, anywhere to support this. Shit, the billionaire's not even right-wing. The same guy's also fighting against pharma companies to keep drug prices low.

Sugar is equal parts glucose and fructose. So are you saying glucose is bad? even though any carbohydrate you eat is converted into glucose

Lets face it, it wasnt sugar. Americans just gradually stopped giving a shit about their bodies. You cant pin it on any one thing, because its whatever a fat person enjoys eating. America used to all like being "lean n mean," now it became acceptable to be 250 lbs for a grown man and a married woman to be just as fat if not more.

This. It's not so much the food but the amount of food eaten. People overeat because we now live in a world where people accept being a fatass as normal instead of seeing it correctly as shameful.
