I'm anxious to try this stuff. Apparently, these are bottled in Mexico specifically for a restaurant in San Antonio, TX. That's nothing new companies do that all the time but why did they choose this guys face to front it. Supposedly, Cantinflas was to Mexican comedy what Bob Hope was to American comedy at one point in time. But that was quite a while back so they're marketing to a very old audience. Go figure.

An update friends, I made a pan of sausage, potatoes and egg for some tacos on flour tortillas with the sole purpose of trying one of these Cantinflas wonders. Not wanting to burn my butthole as someone was warning about I choose the one on the right in the picture I posted as it had what appeared to be jalapenos vs the habaneros so stated on the other one. Well let me just say I was disappointed, it was even a tad hot not even a hint of heat. The best way to describe the flavor is to compare it to a can of Gebhardt's Enchilada sauce as that exactly the way it tasted. Nevertheless, I braved onward and ate some beings how that all I had to douse my taco with. Two thumbs down. I'll let you all know how the other one compares but I'm thinking it's a nag too.
