You can't circle them, because they spin around like they're standing on a record player.
You can't use anything ranged, because their weapons reach like 5 miles.
You can't tank them, because they can't be staggered and they attack like once every 3 seconds anyway.

I don't know how this is supposed to be a "boss". It's less of a challenge and more of a test of how many times you're willing to hit yourself against a brick wall before you get bored to go do something else.
I fucked off to go through the entirety of Anor Londo, came back, and I still can't surmount this bullshit.

I can't do the chugging Havel build. I sunk all my points into dex

Equip the heaviest armour and highest DPS weapon you have available, and just wail on them. The fight is a damage race, nothing more. Don't even bother dodging, don't get fancy, just smack at them with a buffed weapon until they die. This strat literally works just as well at level 1, so if you can't pull it off you might be braindead.

Wolf Ring and RoFaP give you all the poise you will need. Don't even need heavy armor.
Just 2 hand and dps them down. You will win the race and then you just heal after.

This. The faster you are the less chance he has spawning more Kings. Dex build is perfect for this boss.
