Do these things actually ripen after they're off the plant? Can I buy a shitty sour green pineapple and ripen it into one of those sweet, picture-perfect golden ones? I've only found a nice, ripe, yellow pineapple at the grocery store once, and it was the best pineapple I've ever had.
