Not a fan of store bought strawberries.
They pick em green then gas em during the ride.
The only good strawberry is one you grew yourself, and props to you if the birds or squirrels didnt get to them first. On a semi-related note, squirrels are the greatest enemy to any vegetable gardener.

I would suggest a green house. But every single green house I've seen has turned into a turf-house due to neglect.

Neet ideas dont always have neet outcomes if you dont put the work into it.

Clearly you've never actually grown your own strawberries. They're best pink to bright red, and they get significantly worse the darker they go.

Mostly tart but the smaller ones tend to be sweeter. Overall they're wonderful. I throw em in my pancakes every morning, made some cashew cheesecake with em yesterday, puff pastry filling today. Tomorrow i'll make some freezer pops with em.

My father shoots squirrels with his rifle. If they are hungry they will eat the flowers on his fruit trees before they even bear fruit. Sad that such cute little animals can be so evil.
