because the water coming out of there is barely 180F and contact time is not sufficient to properly extract any coffee except very dark roasts.

And the reusable kcup suffers from it's own flaws. Standard disposables work by holding enough backflow to create enough pressure to increase contact time. That's why the disposables have the plastic cup with a tiny exit hole at the bottom. Reusables don't have this.

If I ever use a Keurig I run that shit til its empty 4x before using it. The water still has chunks in it. And that takes forever so id rather just use a machine thats not dirty and absolute garbage
