I would still have to disable every smoke detector in the house. The window closest to the kitchen is actually a slider that leads to a closed off patio, thus there's basically no air flow when you open it. Until I decide to acquire a ladder to access the smoke detectors, my lazy stupid ass is stuck with the pan I fucked up.

i clean mine WITH SOAP and steel wool
throw it on the burner for 3 min.
coat in grease and store it in the oven.

run paper towel around it until it doesnt come back dark brown.
