Thoughts on KFC? I can't understand why people hate it so much.

I mean you can still get a meal for one for five bucks, I consider that the standard of any fast food place. It's just that most of their meals are meant to feed multiple people, so of course they cost more.

Jollibee has been listed as one of the best fast food places to visit in the United States if you're craving for fried chicken.

Foodbeast's Constantine Spyrou cited the Filipino fast food restaurant in his list, which was published last week.

i like it because it's consistent. if i'm in another state i can still get the same flavor that i know i'll like. my roommate and i used to go to one once a month and kill a 10 piece family meal every time with biscuits, corn, and mashed potatoes. fucking god tier cheat meal when you're eating healthy the rest of the time

it's entirely dependent on location. I live in a white town but our KFC is just fucking awful on a consistent basis. The last time I went to KFC, the front door was locked and they put up a sign that said "we ran out of food". Other times, it takes like 30 minutes to get my order, and when I do get it, the chicken is fucking rotten and dry as hell.

It's really a shame because KFC actually has a really good chicken recipe but their low ass standards are fucking everything up. I wish they'd stop combining with other fast food places and just bring back good, simple food that the employees can manage to cook with some standards.

It just looks really shitty and disgusting. The buildings, the logo, the lukewarm/cold microwaved food. I haven't been to KFC in over a decade at this point. It has the aura of failure all around it and it should have gone under years ago. Hopefully it wont take too long.

When it's good, it's good. But the quality is so fucking inconsistent that I don't risk going there. Last time I had some was in March, my mother got some for me and my wife. My tendies meal was lukewarm, not fresh, and the tenders were fucking tiny, plus they forgot the mash potato. My wife's 3 piece box was fresh and crispy though.

I wouldn't spend my own money on it anymore. It always feels like a coin toss in terms of quality.

All KFC branches are franchised out, management and quality varies from location to location. The one by your house apparently has better management than most other branches, congratulations on winning.

It's fried chicken, more can go wrong than normal fast food. Quality varies by location, aka, if a place actually has a decent GM it's going to be better, which chain it happens to be makes less of a difference. I will say Church's has the best sides with those honey butter biscuits and jalapeno poppers.
