Its good when its used properly. Cumin isn't some herb like rosemary where if you get the dollar brand that's been sitting on the shelf for ages its gonna make or break your dish... Cumin is a one note flavor. You either use it properly or you don't.

Are you trying to put cumin in your lasagna? On your salmon? On your caesar salad?
