B&J refreezes weird, in that artificial, shiny, plastic looking way. Its not the only one that does that, but even faux-gelato like Talenti doesn't. I don't trust ice creams with preservatives or whatever that makes it completely reconstruct its appearance when put back into the freezer... There's no reason for it when your basic ice cream is literally meant to be just milky cream and various fixins.

I'd rather shell out an extra buck or two for Talenti than have a product that looks like its staring back at me unless I finish it all in one sitting.

I have always disliked Ben & Jerry's due to the chunks present in the ice cream for nearly all of their flavors. My family has always made homemade ice cream using the bucket machines. And whatever we have made has almost always trumped the taste of store brought ice cream.

The whole political BS surrounding the company and founders is laughable. The guys have always been outspoken regarding their viewpoints. Whether you agree with them or not should be irrelevant as a consumer should vote with their tastes over what the company's agenda.
