I cut them and put them in the oven. I like baking my bacon in a cast iron skillet in the oven. The half lengths fit better, plus the high sides of the skillet keep the oven cleaner than a sheet pan does. Also makes bacon fat harvesting very efficient.

I think that anon alternates layers of bacon with sheets of parchment paper to keep the separated while only taking up the space of one sheet pan on the oven rack. Personally, I don't really have an issue with bacon sticking together when baked in greater than a single layer because I bake it at a very low temperature for a longer amount of time. Tends to leave the rendered fat clearer and cleaner at low temperatures as well.
