Don't buy Nip shit if you're a poor fag. They make good stuff, but in the current market it's heavily overpriced. You can get comparable quality for way less from other countries, especially once you start looking at stuff with an age statement.
If you want something similar to the Jap style try some highland scotch, Glenmorangie 10 is a nice place to start and won't break the bank.

I liked japanese whiskey when I could get it for 30-40 bucks. I don't understand the appeal, since they're relatively mild drinks. They're like wheaters. They're adored for their easy light flavor. Subsequently they've blown the fuck up price wise. Even high west and whistle pig are blowing up rye prices, though beyond sazerac rye has kept more stable.

For me, it's the Bombay Sapphire. Reminds me of college. Still good for all the same reasons as it was then - acceptably harsh for the goal of getting obliterated ASAP, reasonably affordable for poorfag anon, about as diet friendly as liquor gets. Also it's easy to chase or mix if that's your preference or desire at the time (versus say something dark or more strongly flavored). Some sort of tequila if I'm having a fun time and hanging out (the gin isn't too bad for that but I've found it's definitely not for everyone).

I'm doing omad myself, I felt that going longer than that messes up with my stomach in a sense that I found it hard to going back to normal meals again (extremely low appetite and weakness. But I did try combining omad with keto and went out drinking so thats what probably fucked my body up. Never again.

i uhm... actually realized how bad my firends were getting, because they drink more than me. and one day only a couple blocks away from my house, at a bar. My firned refused to walk home and crashed into someone's house two blocks away form my house, on his way to my house...
