corn/rice/barley does not matter when it comes to sweetness, what matters is how efficiently the yeast converts the sugar in the grain to alcohol. In light beers whether they use corn or rice or are all malt, the goal is to convert as much of the sugar as possible because it results in a beer that is lower in calories and costs less to make
In general craft beer is sweeter and has more sugar left because they aren't as concerned with calorie counts or producing the beer as cheaply as possible

KBS is about 50% stronger than regular breakfast stout depending on the year and has a very distinct and smooth barrel age flavor.

The difference is definitely not minute. The hype is more an artifact of a day when such good beer was not common. KBS was a lot of people first barrel aged beer, it was one of the very best beers available at a super market for quite a while. To be fair I only tried one sip and that was like the third beer I'd ever tried. I thought it was way too bitter at the time but I'd like to try it again.

I'm back. Drinking a kolsch from these dudes. Cozy af brewery and the people who work there are dope. The beer rules too. The brewery is built from an old church that had been abandoned for years I guess. They refurbished everything they could from it or something. Idk i thought it was cool

Nestled along the east bank of the Cannon River, Chapel Brewing sits on a site that has hosted a jail, a chapel, a Sunday school, the Bridgewater Township town hall, and a photography studio. This riverside gem sits across the river from the Archibald Town Mill - which produced some of the most expensive wheat flour in the country - and now boasts a beautiful deck facing the river. Chapel Brewing proudly welcomes you and your family, friends, and colleagues to gather and enjoy high-quality beer (and non-alcoholic beverages) made with local ingredients. We specialize in American-style ales, drawing inspiration from all over the world to brew beer that is distinctly American. Our beer is flavorful, balanced, and bold, but always drinkable

Its not uber special, and its technically not Mexican, but its just a nice biscuit sweet lager. Has a bit of a honey flavor to it.

We taste with our eyes. On the Beerists podcast, Rubio dyed a beer without telling his co-hosts and they tasted something completely different.

they're alright. Showed up with a shitload of money that's for sure. Built their giant ass brewery/hotel and then two taprooms downtown

That sink the bismark beer they made was like a 31%
