Those doctors are a front for PETA and have been criticized by the American Medical Association for just pushing a vegan agenda and not actually following the science.

>bleach raw chicken
What the fuck is wrong with you guys? Salmonella is rare as fuck and is cooked off in the few cases it's present.

A lot of people have bad hygiene habits. I always see people touching raw meat and then touching stuff all over their kitchen, cross contaminating it. Then if you try to point this out to them, they'll say "that's what we have an immune system for".

So you bleach the chicken because people cross-contaminate?

>> No.12220884

>>12220876
I guess. Or in case people undercook the chicken.

Not saying I particularly like that it's being done. I suppose that's another potential benefit of lab-grown meat, that it'll be easier to keep it clean during production.

salmonella 'poisoning' is rare but salmonella is normal flora of chicken, you cannot get rid of it

THIS
what I didn't mentioned at first post is that this is not that dangerous. bleach residue is lesser than tap water after proper cooking. not even have to mention about pathogens
that is blatant fear mongering

>> No.12220927

>>12220884
I doubt you marinate the chicken in bleach long enough to kill salmonella throughout the chicken.

>>12220904
Is it? If it was normal then you would watch out for raw or undercooked eggs, but nobody cares about that.

Salmonella has officially been eradicated from Danish poultry, so I guess it's not quite as normal a flora as the experts on 4chan think.

you do know that babies in womb are normally aseptic, don't you?
just watch out while you crush egg shells, I recommend you to wash your egg just befor you crack it
also buying unwashed egg also helps as they tend to have protective layer of cuticle. washed products, in the other hand, will have more bacteria than unwashed in few hours at room temperature
