Easter is officially over. What did you have for dinner. You did have an Easter dinner right? Also don't forget to stock up on that discounted Easter candy at the store!

well I'm pretty sure I ate food today, I generally do

for breakfast I went to eat down by the train station and tried to get some work for the day but I gave up and came home and then I played super metroid and fell asleep and woke up and watched game of thrones and drank half a bottle of bourbon and ate chicken strips

We don't really do big Easter dinners here. My brothers and I went down to the beach and boiled some eggs and sausages and made some flatbreads, as is tradition.

Easter chocolate has a heavy markup before Easter. It also tends to be hollow. Those discounts you see after Easter look good as a percentage of the original price, but in reality leave the chocolate only slightly cheaper per gram than everyday chocolate. It's really not worth going out of your way for.

neat
although i kind of consider it cheating taking wood and not foraging it and boiled eggs seems like a waste of a fire lol
step it up next year with a grate and grilling

the flatbread on a stick is cool though

I like easter because it means the local butchers and supermarkets have great deals on cuts of meat which are normally expensive.

I don't give two shits about the holiday, but why would you pass up cheap meat?

Spent Easter at my sister’s place. We made a nice glazed ham. I told my nephews it was the Easter Bunny and while the kids go out to find his eggs, the adults go find the bunny and cook him for dinner. They started crying and refused to eat anything.

I don't live in the UK.
I did want to just walk along the beach and collect firewood like we did in the old days, but one of my brothers has MS and can't really do that anymore, so we brought some wood from home.
We made eggs and sausages because that's the tradition. Grilling is not the tradition.

I downed a bottle of ambien and drank a half gallon of svedka before I blacked out on the floor. Only reason I’m alive is my downstairs neighbor called the cops. I thought It would kill me but I even failed at that. So I’m just gonna buy a shotgun today and go out that way.

No, it's just begun! You commemorate the full duration of the risen Christ's time on Earth, unless you're a pagan or nonbeliever, in which case why are you celebrating Easter?

Yesterday, I had some ham and potatoes that my mom made and some beef pastries. And of couse some jellybeans and chocolate.

I ate like a pound of figs over the course of the day, though. Good stuff.
Didn't stock up on any Easter candy because the goddamn Walgreens around the corner was sold out of everything but those hollow-ass fake "chocolate" bunnies by the day before Easter.
