Pretty sure this is a joke but I've seen many places with a similar sort of menu style and it makes me physically uncomfortable and angry. For example a sports bar I went to recently called all their hot dogs and burgers 'bad boy dirty dog' 'the big sloppy one' and things like that. I had to just point to the one I wanted, the waiter looked almost as embarrassed as I felt. Why do they do this?

Whenever I end up at a place like this, I won't use their stupid "edgy" names when I order. I'll just say what it is I want (chlli dog with cheese) instead of the stupid name (bad boy dirty dog), or I'll just point at what I want on the menu. Saying the "edgy" name is just too cringey.
