I only eat local real maple syrup. I am also actually irl homosexual so I am not attracted to the woman in this image or her likeness, but I think it is a cute sculpture.

I mean I'm pretty sure what we had in the fridge growing up was the fake stuff too but now I've taken the syruppill and there's no looking back. A lot of places sell local maple syrup and I don't use that much often (and it doesn't go bad easily) so it is easy to keep it in stock.

Aren't both of these just pure high fructose corn syrup?

Just depends on the company, there are small family owned maple farms thats will use glass.

Cans are pretty popular across most of the US maple syrup producing areas as well.

Far more important than can vs glass is the quality of the syrup itself.

I personally can't stand the super maple flavor of the dark stuff. It's cloying and just unpleasant to me.

Light fancy maple syrup on the other hand is nice, light maple flavor that is a good accompaniment with several things.
