Not saying carbs are bad, but there's a reason people call beer "liquid bread". Don't eat so many starchy foods if you want to drink beer, you don't have to cut out an entire meal. Just treat it like your starchy side and make your meals meat, cheese, eggs, vegetables.

You do if you drink enough. It isn't about the carbs it is about the calories.

Bread as liquid beer was a medieval thing, the monks used to brew it thick and unfiltered, where it was literally almost liquid bread. Today's beer is a far cry from that stuff.

Wrong. They would sometimes use bread to start the fermentation, but it was never THAT thick with bread.

Just be more active and eat what you want it’s healthier than just eating less and more achievable than depriving yourself of good tasting food.
