I work at a restaurant and when I'm too lazy to cook something for myself at the end of the night and there's a little extra protein laying around I just spend 30 seconds and throw together a basic salad. I should probably do it more often.

I was feeling lazy so I smashed out a pair of burgers with a small bite of worcestershire sauce, an energetic home-made mayo and topped with a few banana peppers

Literally every line cook everywhere gets to make food for themselves every shift. The chef/owner was literally doing something on the line when I threw that together and was honestly happy that I was using up that last half of grilled chicken breast and just making a salad (usually we'd wrap the chicken up and freeze it and then make a chef's soup when we had enough to do something with).
