Okay so i bought some deep fired peanuts and it said you can eat them "shell-n-all". I thought that was weird but okay the bag told me. I ate a few and now I've got some peanut shells splintering in my mouth. desu it tastes good and i want more but it hurts half the time. I'm afraid i might get my throat slit.

Can you really eat peanuts "shell-n-all" or is this company fucking with me.

pick related except mine are garlic

I ate a few of them in-shell but eventually I started to eat them without the shell. Imo roasted peanuts are better

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Enjoy your poops tomorrow.

shit. I just ate another one and it stabbed my throat even worse. I'm taking a loss and opening these now.
I agree, roasted are better. This is just what they had at the store.

oh fuck

I think i'll be okay. I already got autism from eating sun flower seeds without breaking the shell. I thought peanuts might be different and put my faith in uncle bub.

If they were just fried right before you ate them, maybe. But even then it probably wouldn't feel good leaving.

Technically you can eat any peanuts or stuff like sunflower seeds shell and all, it's just not a pleasant experience.

Boiled peanuts sound weird but are actually fucking good, especially if you can find some guy selling them from a roadside stand or at a county fair or something.

wtf does the text under the name mean?

is it exactly what it sounds like? Whole peanuts boiled in hot water? How does it compare to a regular peanut you would buy in like a grocery store bag?

boiled peanuts are kind of like eating boiled beans. it's not bad, but i prefer roasted/fried.

Interesting, that's absolutely not the texture I would've thought they'd have. It almost sounds like a "poor mans" roasted chestnut or something

Its kind of weird, they have the English name with Japanese and then the Japanese with English. It's the same in both languages.
They're saying it's handmade with care.

I fucking love them. I bought a few bags off a guy selling them freshly boiled on the side of the road when visiting middle Georgia. They are soft with kind of a bean texture like >>12195554 said but way better. They are salty and addicting.

Just about every convenience store has these set up. Cajun flavored are the best. I know walmart sells them here in the south but you might be able to find them elsewhere.
